Converting Printed Books and Publications to Kindle file format

Many old books created in typesetting, type written or in MS DOS don't have an eBook file format, we allow conversion to eBook formats like Kindle, PDF and MS Word. We can help authors and publishers in such situation.

We have converted many old books for different authors and publishers by scanning their book and then conduction OCR (Optical Character Recognition) and converting it into Kindle or MS Word format.

• Provide details of the book to us like size of page, number of pages, type of formatting, images, tables, graphs, text in one column or two column etc.


• Based on the information provided, we will give you a quote, time required to convert the file to Kindle and conversion restrictions if any.


• After the book and payment are received we start scanning the book.


• OCR (Optical Character Recognition) is performed on the file sent to us.


• The book is converted into the Kindle/MS word format and quality check is performed.


• Client is emailed the login ID and password for previewing the book on the Kindle to review the file for any changes. If conversion is in word format then we email the converted word files.


• If there are corrections required in Kindle book, client has to send us the complete list of changes just in one email. We will make the changes needed (as per Kindle conversion standards) until you see the final output to your satisfaction.


• After the final preview, we will send the file you you, which you can then upload it in your kindle account.


• After you publish the file in Kindle, your book is available for sale on Kindle within 72 hours.

• Total number of pages


• Size of the page


• Number of images in file


• Number of graphs, tables, charts etc


• Does the book have content in one column or it has multiple column contents?


• Does the book have any special formatting like bullets, special characters, special fonts etc.



We convert the books only for authors, publishers or anybody who has the copyright of the books. If the book is no longer copyright protected, then please provide us the details on it.

Many of our clients ask us to first convert the file in MS word, which allows them to make changes in the file (add you new photo, acknowledgement, few edits etc) after they make the changes they send us the file for conversion in Kindle format. This process allows the author/publisher to convert the MS word file into PDF and sell it as ebook through different vendors.
